　　影片讲述的是一位新妈妈 Mary （克里斯蒂·柏克 饰）保护新生儿 Adam（Grace Christensen 饰）的故事。Mary 生了一对双胞胎，但其中只有 Adam 存活了下来。在照顾 Adam 的过程中她疯狂地认为有某种超自然的实体在不惜任何代价地把 Adam 从她身边带走。
